[Redbook8:43][19901026:1102]{Material Concerns}[26th October 1990]

Sheer tiredness depressed me yesterday; today, with more energy (and much to do, [W] being still ’flu-ish), I am content again here at [home at] [CH]. But a leetle [sic] concerned about money: our 6-day holiday cost us £274, and our overdraft, set up for work on the house, is now around £1600* (rising by £250 each month before, I hope, falling again).

*{That’s nothing! Now (2/{91?}

our debts are:

O[ver]D[raft]

£2000

£750

**

Access [card]

£200

Storage heater

£200

Solicitor

£80

(re wills)

Catalogue

£40

Inmac

c[£]80

Disks &c

Total

£3350

Savings £700

Cash c£500

£1200

Tot[al]

}

You think that’s big! Now:

Bus[iness] O[ver]D[raft]

& no cash. But I think

we’re stabilised...

except for laser printer &c,

c£800, to buy [which was not in fact bought at that time].
