*The Devil, for that matter, is not exactly on the Circle either: he is under the circle of Angels, and among the Archangels his place is represented by A~,** the only name which does not come from Judao-Christian tradition.***

‘Anti-Christ’ is a designation for one in whom the Devil is dominant. In A~, however, the complexity of Separation is displayed: for A~ is an Archangel and stands in the presence or sight of the Spirit of God,**** I believe, although most separated, whereas the existence of the devil as an independent entity – independent of Man, that is – is conjectural.#
