no real problem – no alternate [circle rotational] directions required – my visual imagination inadequate: in fact, if anything, the same direction is indicated at the start, ie when the larger circle is getting under way and possibly still uncertain of its [rotational] direction; later, the effect is opposite; so perhaps there is no net effect.
