[Redbook6:155][19890715:1035c]{Technology
and Art}[15th July 1989]

[continued]
Technology,
around the outer degree U, is pagan, and tends towards a greater
separation; most Art,* around the outer degree J~, is also pagan, but
tends towards less separation (paradoxically)[,] via disintegration.
Both
technology and Art can, however[,] be used in a non-separating way
(eg technology in support of music): for technology this must be the
inner circle degree of u[~], and therefore presumably subordinated to
inner (non-material) functions; for art, however, it can be inner
circle, in the same way: or outer circle, ie in its own right, where
the disintegrating effect leads back to the degree C.
