{Circular Patterns in Practice}[20th June 1988]

[Redbook5:184-185][19880620:0000d[?]]{Circular Patterns in Practice}[20th June 1988]

19880620(?).(a.m.)
[continued][?]

Waking,* I reflected on the co-incidence of actual events with this Circles pattern** in my own life. For example, coming here at the end of the 2nd Quarter Cycle I have met up again with [my secondary school housemaster and his wife] from the end of the first. At the start of the second Half Cycle I have (for the time being at least) cut off from my parents who filled the first Half Cycle. I have also left [C], which was my real home for the first Half Cycle; and the [Preserved] railway there, which was closed just after we arrived at [C], near the beginning of the first Half Cycles, is now in a fair way to being reopened again near the beginning of the 2nd [Half Cycle].***

Similarly, key geographical locations have coincided: from 1st Half Cycle wholly in the South-east, often very unhappily and wanting to move – then C~-point in Scotland, and now R~-G~-J~? here in Wales: both the last two being in response to strong inner 'pulls'. (The distinction perhaps being between not following one's inner motivations on the Outer Circle, and following them on the Inner.) I am already aware of the feeling that I shall have to become involved with the South-east again,**** but may end up after all in the North (retirement!). If these sort of patterns continue it is not at all improbable (and not all that improbable in the circumstances anyway) that I should find myself once again, for a time, involved with [C]# – a prospect which gives rise to personal reactions ranging from distaste (a few weeks ago) to detachment (this morning).#*

**[See last previous entry.]

***[In fact past [C] in or before 1994]

****[This did happen, but not in the way imagined in these Journals; family matters involved frequent travel to and stays in [C], which is in the South-east, over a period of about 10 years until 2013. During this period there was also work in England for about 6 years, although not in the South-east. The North seems highly unlikely, since [d] and [s] have settled nearby in Wales. <20180518>]
