Sorting
out the Knaves Circle and Number Cards* is important because it
suggests a more comprehensive coverage of all sorts and conditions of
Individuals. In fictional terms, it enables me to be reasonably
confident of being be to place (the major influences on) the types of
ordinary people who are likely to walk in and out of such fictions –
even if I do not actually try to place them, I need to know that it
can theoretically be done.
