[Redbook4:179][19871129:0025]{The
Angelic Sense}[29th
November 1987]

Sometimes
the technical complexity* of the construction leads to a feeling of
dryness (as one might expect: at Implementation, and cf. St. John of
the Cross (?), the Dark Night of the Soul (?).** But sometimes,
letting the complexity go, there follows a sense of the Angelic: a
strong sense, a real sense. This is one of those times.
How
does it differ from the Divine awareness of God itself?
Inexplicably, but distinctly: although the Divine is in the Angelic
as in the Human, it might help to say that the Angelic sense is more
Human in scale.***
*I'll
say! I can't even begin
to follow the complexities now; much of it seems in retrospect
unnecessary, although I suppose that working through it was part of
the process of arriving at a point where it could be seen to be
(perhaps) unnecessary. <930506>
