The underlying pattern* may be seen in the Life Cycles: specifically in the Quarter Cycles, of which there are normally 4,*** each being normally 16-18 years long.****

I speculate that one may remain on each Circle, going round again, instead of going round to the next.

(Presumably, in earlier times when Men lived shorter lives, the whole scale was shortened... and in later times if Men live longer, so the scale will lengthen: already, education (and childhood?) tend to last not just to 11/13, or 16, or 18, but to 21, or 23, or even longer.)#

This revision shows the 4 Circles from-ing and to-ing as before, but without forcing the inward reversing spiral necessarily#** to follow that pattern (– although it my be influenced by the pattern – the result is broadly the same.)

This does resolve an earlier problem: that. Given that there are four Circles or Circle patterns#*** – which of the middle two (the most interesting so far) is M~'s, and which G~s. This depends on the relative importance of near-beginnings and near-endings (in horseshoes from and to +C†I~), or of 'driving' and 'leading' (or pulling). I had inclined to pulling, i.e. G~ outer, M~ inner; but given the strong association of G~ with Queens, and M~ with Knights,#**** the opposite seems, symbolically, to be the case. What matters, of course, is experience.##

The Circle may be (for example) +K's, where she is my guide,##* but I may feel strongly the pull of +M's leadership along it.
