This evening we have been re-searching (on paper, of course) not only around Pershore,* but around Westbury** (and Frome) on the Wiltshire/Somerset border, an area which I know slightly, and which I think is more attractive; and where the houses seem to be cheaper, but where the work prospects are not so good.

It is, of course, on a line out of Paddington [station], like Pershore (change at Oxford these days, I believe), but further to the South/Southwest.***
