It was this thought,* plus some E[ncyclopaedia] B[ritannica] reading, which brought me to face up to the fact which [sic] has been growing on me for months: that although I believe myself to be, broadly speaking, some kind of Christian, I am not the kind defined by the Apostle’s Creed, and therefore attendance at Church is only worthwhile if it is a valuable experience – which it was over the Crisis period,** until some time last year, but (as I begin to see more of the politics*** and less of the Holy) is no longer. 

Thanks to the E[ncyclopaedia] B[ritannica], I suspect myself to be some kind of Unitarian:**** a broad classification which merges easily with, or at least towards [sic], more universal approaches to religion which recognise other teachers as well as their own.
