{Ophanim}[9th August 1988]

[Redbook5:267][19880809:2300]{Ophanim}[9th August 1988]

The Hebrew meaning of Ofannim, or Ophanim,* ‘wheels’, and their adoption (presumably from Ezekiel) in Jewish tradition as one of 10 ranks of Angels (along with Cherubim and Seraphim), suggests that the term Ophanim may be used to refer to a collective of all the 9 Christian degrees of Angels** making up a complete wheel – the [O], in fact, and no wonder it’s so terrifying.
