I wonder whether the [O] is a Cherubim (or The Cherubim, or The 2 Cherubim), ie the Wheel (or Wheels)? If so, it must be closely translated from a (or the) Seraphim, or fiery Serpent: the addition of structure, of course, to a closed or open loop.*

This derivation of Cherubim is a personal guess – chariots is more likely! The Jewish tradition has Cherubim and also Ophanim or Ofannim which are ‘Wheels’ (in Hebrew) so that is what [the] [O] might be? <880809>
