On the whole,* I return to a very early model of mine** which has been tried out really only in liberal Scandinavian and Anglo-Saxon societies, I think, and then only briefly (in the sixties), and without a sufficient framework; but there are hints of it in the Temple Prostitutes of antiquity, so detested by Old Testament authorities.
Anglo-Saxon morality swung ‘over the top’ and back to the right after the Sixties, and Aids [sic] has changed basic perceptions. But morality in detail is generally based on misconceptions,*** and Aids is a medical problem which will be solved, by prevention or cure, without the necessity to change our thinking about sex.
