And yet* the experience of ‘falling in love’ or ‘being in love’ – the transitory state or stages introducing, and early in, a loving relationship – is common to different forms** of Love. And Love at any stage is physical, whether sexual or not, within the World: both in the sensation of Love physically*** from top to toe of the body;**** and in needing to express itself with physical expressions, gestures and caresses. The fact that the expression must frequently be denied, is simply our tragedy.
