The Main Sequence* is simply a line somewhere along which the life of a Star will settle for a while. It therefore has no** direction: the direction of Stellar development is provided by the two 'branches' shown* (per Chartrand)*** {(}and possibly by the Closed Group lines{)} ****{,} which all# clearly rotate along the Outer Circle. Stellar Evolution begins and ends with A~.#
