{Quality relationships (3): Dynamic Independence [continued(6)]}[16th April 1987]

[continued]

All this* is somewhat dry: but perhaps there are two morals to be drawn. **One is that God is One but with many aspects depending upon the point of view. Each aspect is as perceived by a particular aspect of Man, and speaks to it in its own way. So, broadly: (this) logic deals in truths, and comes to a halt before a Quality of Absolute Truth; Science deals in material questions, and contemplates the ultimate material question; mysticism develops by inward experience, and seeks the innermost Experience.

For me, I think, the most convincing thing about God, beyond all logic, Science or mysticism, is the simple fact that I can't stop looking for him: or to put it another way, I seek God because I can't help it. This is a thing neither of truth, nor question, nor experience; though all these are a part of the search, it is the Search that is. The Search reveals the Spirit.***

This declaration brings a welcome fluidity of mind, contrasting with the dryness of previous discussions. All three of the ****(complementary) approaches are (or should be) committed to the search for Truth using truth also for the search; but truth also is in the commitment, and the commitment is Love.#

**I seem to have forgotten to write down the other.... <[87]0418> [or perhaps the second paragraph has it? <20160314>]
