I noticed today in St Peter’s Church, Llan[…], that the mosaics
surrounding Christ behind the Altar show:

(but
the bottom 2 were hidden by vases of roses).
There
is some merit in this as the ox is traditionally associated with the
Earth (U~) (ploughing) more than fire (cf the golden calf!); and at
J~ T[arot] XI, Fortitude, shows a lion, albeit being overcome by a
woman. But it rests uneasily with Revelation (& ‘[0]’)
