There are problems with this* notion. A Man may be made to feel guilty, it is believed, about something that is not a sin, i.e. a stain on the Soul, by being worked upon psychologically by those who have emotional power over him.

However, whether the feeling of guilt arises from mistaken feelings of duty (presumably from concentration on false gods – such as relatives); or is the 'real thing', manifesting [as?] a stain on the Soul interposing (let us say) between the Conscience and the Clear** Light of the Spirit – it is a fact of experience that the Man's love of Christ and his corresponding awareness of Christ's love for him can melt away all feelings of guilt in a blaze of White** Light, the Light of Forgiveness.
