This pattern of one-directional change, if applied to cyclical change, would presumably result in relative speeds similar to those of a planet in orbit round the Sun – the end of the ellipse nearest [to] the Sun being equivalent to the C[ircles] A[nalysis] and S[ynthesis] degree C, where the speed is grestest per Kepler’s 2^nd law: ‘The line segment SP connecting the sun and the planet sweeps out equal areas in equal times’.**
