I think it is permissible to add to this* something of which Dostoyevsky may not have been aware, and which I have not found in the superficial texts I possess, but of which I have both direct and anecdotal experience in observation of the onset of an eplileptic fit: the tendency to twist or turn as the fit takes hold,** which would be at or immediately after (1) on the table above.***
