*But it is also arguable that Mathematics as a pure Science or Art, i.e. not applied in support of a Science, is or may be a product of the Universe and cannot therefore be used to argue one way or another beyond its boundaries (the same could, of course, be argued about any mode of thought; but perhaps the least empirically valid-able and/or the least structured, are least affected by this argument). Even the question of whether the Physical Universe has boundaries could then only be asked and answered by Mathematics as from within the Universe: no implication could be drawn, or at least no proof accepted, as conveying the view from not-within the Physical Universe, which cannot in any way be assumed to be the counterpart of the view from within.**
