might one day have to be careful. I do not know much of other
languages; but if I were to say that English, with its diversity and
its ambiguities, offers us a living system of clues to the nature of
Totality, that statement might well be blown up out of proportion and
then denounced as partisan. But it has become apparent to me; and
the statement is prompted now by the word “recreation”.)
