Perhaps I
should define my attitudes as being socially left-wing and economically
right-wing -- with my politics coming somewhere between the two: falling
between and, perhaps, failing between. I
should treat all men, personally, as individuals equally worthy of respect, recognising
nevertheless that the economic system which makes progress to greater content
possible demands that certain inequalities and scarcities be recognised.
