[Redbook1:187][19701117e]{Education
for Change}[17th November 1970]
Wed 17/11/70 [continued]
We are
approaching this the wrong way. The
world -- our world, I mean -- is composed of individuals, and the way to change
the life of the world is through the individuals: through education and
communication in particular. Political
manoeuvring is clumsy, though we have so arranged things that for most of us it
is all we can hope to do; politics is a clumsy science. But communication and education can change
the inside of a man with more accuracy, in the right hands, and with more
effect than ever politics could.
