I find it difficult to swallow individual re-incarnation,* and can see neither convincing evidence nor convincing reasons for it; I prefer to guess that the Soul starts a new life like a clean slate. [SX],** who believes in re-incarnation, also believes in Old Souls. It is, of course, possible to believe in other influences on Individuals at the 'starting post' which are neither re-incarnation nor birth-date: 'Grace', for example, in some versions.
