It
is odd, too, how just as adolescent and teenage girls are generally
more mature than their exact male contemporaries; and,
correspondingly, males from the mid-twenties to early forties tend to
take the position of initiative in life-qualities generally [away]
from their female contemporaries; so in late middle-age and old age
women once again become generally the more admirable sex, in
comparison with men. Or is this generalisation just an illusion of
our changing times?
