NB ‘... The Etruscan predilection for grouping things in threes.’* Would one expect such a culture to show cycles with periods of 3 to the nth power, instead of 2? – ie 30 = 1, 31 = 3, 32 = 9, 33 = 27, 34 = 81 etc.
