Circles do seem to turn in relationship to each other, for example
within the life of one person. The common location point seems to be
at +C (or Crisis), where cycles end and begin.* However, there is
considerable flexibility or “stretching” built into the system –
not least by our own inclinations to resist. Perhaps a better
visualisation would be of a system of stretchy, slightly slippery
driving bands for gears**, instead of gear wheels with cogs, despite
the basic Circles symbolism.
