On a very cursory search, there seems a distinct possibility that the depiction of the female for her own sake in the visual arts is rare on the right semicircle (c[irca]1CE-1024CE)* of the [current] 2048-year cycle, or perhaps during a c[irca]1024-year period starting a little way into that cycle and ending a little way after its mid-point; and that when women are depicted, they are barely** distinguishable from men. 

This seems to be the case probably by comparison with the preceding c[irca]1024-year semicycle (c[irca]1024BCE to c[irca]1BCE),**** and certainly by comparison with the succeeding c[irca]1024-year semicycle (c[irca]1024[ce] or a little later, to date).****
